Fever clinic patients in Guangdong must be tested for virus

All patients treated at fever clinics in Guangdong province now need to receive nucleic acid testing of throat swab samples against the novel coronavirus.
The provincial authorities required at a meeting on Friday that all fever clinics in the province strictly comply with all the current management standards.
Fifty-seven more cases of pneumonia infections caused by the novel coronavirus were confirmed on Friday to bring the total to 1,075 in Guangdong, according to the provincial health commission.
There were 195 suspected cases and 3,412 people under medical observation.
Twenty-nine more confirmed patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital on Friday, with recovered patients totaling 97 in Guangdong.
