The Chinese Foreign Ministry extended condolences on Saturday over the deadly Moscow concert hall terror attack and offered sympathies to the injured and bereaved.

China is deeply shocked by the heavy casualties inflicted by the severe terrorist attack, a spokesperson for the ministry said in an online statement.

China opposes all forms of terrorism, strongly condemns terrorist attacks, and firmly supports Russia in safeguarding its national security and stability, the spokesperson said.
