Raffaele Cattaneo, undersecretary with responsibility for international and European relations in Italy's Lombardy region, said China is Italy's largest trade partner in Asia, and that bilateral cooperation is vital for Italy.
Lombardy, as one of Italy's strongest economic regions, has played a key role in attracting Chinese investment. He emphasized that both sides aim to further enhance mutually beneficial economic cooperation and strengthen their bilateral ties.
