One missing, 28 rescued as tourist boat capsizes in Hunan

A tourist boat capsized in Dongjiang Lake at the Bailang scenic area in Zixing city of Hunan province on Saturday afternoon at about 4:30 pm, causing 29 people to fall into the water, China Central Television reported.
The boat, with a capacity of 40 passengers, was carrying 29 individuals when it was hit by a level 11 gale. By 6 pm, 28 people were rescued with 27 in stable condition and one remaining in emergency treatment. Search efforts are ongoing for one missing person.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
