Great news for international travelers! Shanghai has upgraded its transport services with the launch of an English interface for the "Indoor Navigation" service at Hongqiao Railway Station, now available in a trial version. Through the city's "Mobility as a Service" platform, "SH MaaS", the service allows users to conveniently locate pick-up points and check real-time information for the Metro, buses, ride-hailing, taxis, parking, and intercity coaches. It also helps find essential amenities within the station.
This upgrade, timed with the opening of the 8th CIIE, is designed to provide a smoother travel experience for global attendees.
How to Access the Indoor Navigation Service？
International users can access the service via the following methods:
Method 1: Directly scan the QR code below to enter the Shanghai Hongqiao Station "Indoor Navigation" page.
Method 2: Search and download "SH MaaS" in app store, or search for the "Suishenxing" mini-program via WeCaht or Alipay. Then, tap on "Hub Connect", switch to "Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station", and activate the "Indoor Navigation" service.
Considering the various travel scenarios that international exhibitors and visitors may encounter at Hongqiao Station, the English version of the "Indoor Navigation" offers comprehensive support with the following main features.
One-tap navigation: Select "Metro," "bus," or "taxi," and the app will recommend the best route and guide you directly to your destination. It also shows real-time Metro schedules, bus arrivals, and taxi queue times.
Car locator: After parking at P9 or P10, mark your spot in the "Indoor Navigation". When you return, the system will generate a walking route to your vehicle.
Share location: Share a link with your companions to see each other's live location on the map, a feature that works across different floors (supports up to 5 people). You can also manually select a meeting point, send the location, and follow the navigation to meet up.
Search: Type in what you're looking for – restrooms, elevators, restaurants, etc. – and the service will guide you there.
