Playful art inspires young minds
The windKIDS Children's Art Festival has returned to Beijing's 798 Art Zone, showing the works of children and adult artists until Jan 11 at Wind H Art Center. Curated by Zhang Yufei, the fourth edition this year, themed "Yo! City: 18 Channels", has created an open garden for children and their parents to explore ways of expressing feelings, emotions, socializing, and connecting with the world.
The exhibition is divided into four sections, featuring artworks, playful installations, workshops, and animations. It aims to inspire children to think creatively and reflect on their emotions, learn to express themselves, and engage parents in conversations about helping children navigate relationships in family life, at school, and in social settings.
