China to repeal suspension of some US imports

The General Administration of Customs, or GAC, announced on its official website on Friday that it will repeal the previous announcement suspending the soybean export qualification of three United States companies, including CHS Inc, and will restore those companies’ soybean export eligibility from Nov 10.
The announcement was made following an assessment of corrective measures taken by the US side and in accordance with China’s relevant laws, regulations and international phytosanitary standards.
On the same day, the GAC further declared that it will also repeal the suspension on imports of US logs, with effect from Nov 10.
