The Shenyang Imperial Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Shenyang, Liaoning province, welcomed the first snowfall of the winter on Thursday shortly after the 20th solar term of the year in the Chinese calendar. The contrast of white snow set against red walls became enticing for photographers.
