The China State Construction Engineering Corporation, the country's largest contractor, and Rose Rock Capital Ltd signed an agreement of strategic cooperation late last month in Tianjin.
The move paves the way for cooperation between the two in construction projects in the city's Yujiapu Financial District.
Rose Rock Capital Limited is owned by the Rockefeller family.
