China stocks open lower Thursday

BEIJING -- Chinese stocks opened lower Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,123.84, down 0.13 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.09 percent lower at 8,778.61.
