Vantone Real Estate Co, a major developer in China, launched an online platform on Wednesday to enable individuals to develop real estate.
The move, aimed at better taking customers' demands into consideration, is being trailed by Vantone to take advantage of the Internet.
The online platform will enable participants to design projects and put them into production once a certain number of them have agreed to the project.
"Through the online platform everybody could be a property developer," said Feng Lun, chairman of Vantone Holdings.
