In March, non-manufacturing purchasing manager index was 55.6 percent, an increase of 1.1 percentage points over the previous month.

In view of different industries, non-manufacturing purchasing manager index of construction industry achieved 62.5 percent, up by 4.5 percentage points over the previous month, continued to stay above the threshold. That of services industry was 53.9 percent, up by 0.3 percentage points than that in the previous month．Of which, the indices of post industry, telecommunications, radio, television and satellite transmission services industry, hotel service industry, wholesale trade industry, Internet, software and IT services industry, water transport industry stayed at 60 percent and above,and the total enterprise business increased sharply, while the total enterprise business of catering industry, retail trade industry, air transport industry, road transport industry decreased.
