Man's best friend is pig, not dog

An elderly farmer, known as an expert at feeding huge pigs, was so fond of the animals that he lived with them and treated them as his companies.

"Instead of simply keeping pigs like animals as many others did, I do treat them as members of my family," said the man, surnamed Xu.

Last year, one of the pigs he kept weighed in at a record 900 kilograms and earned him a good reputation not only in his hometown of Wafangdian in Liaoning Province, but in the countryside throughout China.
