A resident of Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, got a shock of his life, literally, when he tried to smear his snot on a tree on Sunday.
Li was walking to an agricultural bazaar in the city's Yihe area when he wiped his snot on a tree, which was touching a high-tension wire.
Li collapsed as soon as he wiped his snot on the stem of the tree, but regained consciousness minutes later and walked away.
