A charity relay race initiated by HNA Group attracted more than 7,400 participants from China and abroad, including nearly 160 runners from the United States.

The 2016 HNA Global Charity Relay Race, which took place from the end of 2015 to late January, covered 27 cities, with 12 of them in seven foreign countries, including Chicago, New York, Seattle, Boston, San Jose and Miami in the US.

A flight distance equal to the participants' combined running distance during the race was donated by HNA, which enabled 208 students and workers from impoverished areas to return home for family get-togethers during the Spring Festival holiday.
