Thief wants money to return documents A man who lost all his possession at a hotel room received several blackmailing messages sent from his own cellphone two months later, reported Chutian Metropolis News yesterday. Xia, a native of Hubei Province, was a victim of theft at a hotel in Wuhan, the provincial capital - his roommate, a stranger, disappeared with everything including his clothes. Late last week, Xia's wife received several short messages sent from Xia's mobile phone, demanding that Xia mail money if he wanted to retrieve his documents. The hapless man has reported the matter to police. |
