通知要求，各網(wǎng)站要落實主體責任，進一步規(guī)范包括移動新聞客戶端、微博、微信在內的各類網(wǎng)絡平臺采編發(fā)稿流程，健全內部管理監(jiān)督機制(improve internal management and supervision mechanism)。通知要求網(wǎng)站標注新聞來源(give credit to the original news source)，嚴禁道聽途說編造新聞或歪曲事實(publishing hearsay as news or distorting facts are strictly prohibited)。各級網(wǎng)信辦要切實履行網(wǎng)絡內容管理職責(cyber administrations at all levels should be responsible for the management of Internet content)，加強監(jiān)督檢查(enhance their inspection and supervision)，嚴肅查處虛假、失實新聞信息。
