Banking became the best paid job in Xiamen with average monthly pay of 8,286 yuan, according to the 2015 Spring China Employers & Employees Report released by zhaopin.com – one of China's largest job listing sites.
In the category of pay, intermediary service follows banking with average monthly pay of 8,251 yuan. Real estate/civil engineering ranks third at 7,739 yuan.
The report also shows Xiamen's "career competitiveness index." Financial/audit/tax is the most competitive career, followed by senior management, environmental science, human resource and administration/logistics/secretary.
According to the statistics, the monthly average salary of workers in Xiamen is 5,826 yuan.
