Fujian province, following the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Shanxi and Shaanxi, is one of the top provinces where locals do not like sweet food, according to a report unveiled by Alibaba and CBNData, a business data center of China Business Network Co.

The report also showed that Fujianese's participation on Alibaba's shopping platform during the Spring Festival shopping festival (Jan 17-21) ranked fifth in the country, following that of people from Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shandong. Their favorite items were clothes, food and overseas products.

Fujian's tea sets and puppets, along with Guangzhou's embroidery and Inner Mongolia's feather paintings, were the cultural products most popular around the country.
