Lanzhou listens to classical literature recital

A classical literature recital performance was staged in Gansu Grand Theatre in Lanzhou city, capital of Gansu province on April 9, adding a touch of sophistication to the air.

Performers young and old recited delicately crafted words with emotion, accompanied by soft music and colorful backgrounds, painting an exquisite scene for the audience.

The recited classic articles were selected from Reader, a magazine published by Gansu People's Publishing House.

The activity was aimed at enriching people's lives and creating a greater culture of reading in Lanzhou, according to the Lanzhou city's publicity department.
