| Job seekers at the job fair held by the National Trade Union Employment Support Month |
A series of activities for the 2013 National Trade Union Employment Support Month were held in Guizhou from February 19 to 22.
During the four days, various activities including job fairs and investment promotion conferences were held in Guiyang, Bijie and Zunyi.
More than 66,000 job seekers attended the job fair. Among them, 21,000 job seekers signed contracts with enterprises. More than 14,000 workers chose local enterprises.
There were eight trade unions and 88 enterprises from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong and Guangdong at the fair looking to fill more than 40,000 jobs. Among them, 670 companies based in Guizhou were offering 31,000 jobs.
