The Nanyang Institute of Technology organized its first model airplane festival to celebrate the inaugural China Aerospace Day on April 24.

More than 50 model airplane enthusiasts from the school and elsewhere showed up to put their flying machines on display.

The festival was aimed at getting people interested in aerospace science and technology and help students further develop in the field.
