The Gezhouba Water Conservancy Project (China)

In the early 1970s CGGC constructed the then largest infrastructure project in China – the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Project, starting China's modernization of infrastructure construction and equipment manufacturing. This project is the first large-scale hydropower station on the Yangtze River and the world's largest low-head, large-flow, run-of-river hydropower station.
