Senior officials from the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia and the Alax League, in Inner Mongolia, paid a visit to the energy bureau of Hubei province, May 9 - 10, to share some ideas and discuss cooperating in the energy business.

Taking part were Feng Yuzhen, head of Alax League, Zhang Shiming, standing committee member of Baotou municipal committee of the Communist Party of China, and Zhao Gang, deputy head of Inner Mongolia's Energy Bureau, who were met by the heads of the Hubei Party committee and its energy bureau. Zhen Jianqiao, deputy director of the provincial Party committee, welcomed the guests and told them he was ready to work together with Inner Mongolia on energy development.

Zhen, who is also the director of the Hubei energy bureau, said he was well aware of the advantages the Alax League and Baotou have in wind and solar energy, and that he hopes to promote a power transmission project from up north to Hubei. The two parties also exchanged views on overall plans for the joint efforts and follow-up work.
