Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology (IMUST) plans to admit over one hundred exchange students from Mongolia, Malaysia, France, reported by Baotou Daily.

IMUST is the only university in Baotou that offers scholarships funded by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government. They are mainly used to cover the cost of Mongolian students’ living, education, housing and foreign students’ comprehensive insurance.

IMUST also provides an exclusive dormitory for foreign students, with a kitchen, bathroom and laundry in the apartments.

Since 2011, IMUST has hosted students from a broad range of countries or areas. Students from Mongolia have been admitted to undergraduate programs in mining engineering, civil engineering and automation, which are model programs for the region.
