The Yangtze River Culture and Art Festival that will kick off on Nov 1 in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, will feature three sports events, including the Tour of Taihu Lake 2014, the Europe-Asia All Stars Table Tennis Challenge for Men and the Chinese Women's Basketball Association (WCBA) League.

The Tour of Taihu Lake, a cycling event sponsored by the General Administration of Sport and Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau, will be held from Nov 1 to 9 in six cities of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, attended by 180 athletes in 20 groups. Zhangjiagang, as one of the six participating cities, will welcome the event on Nov 5 in Shuangshan Island. The event will be covered by many media groups such as CCTV 5 and JSTV.

The Europe-Asia All Stars Table Tennis Challenge for Men, one of the world's top table tennis matches, will take place at Zhangjiagang sports center from Oct 31 to Nov 1. Organized by the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) and the General Administration of Sport, this year's event will attract top table tennis players from both Asia and Europe.

In addition, the 2014-2015 Chinese Women's Basketball Association League will run from November 6 until the end of December. It is the second time for Zhangjiagang to host the event.
