Jilin province got US$7.6 billion investment in 2014

Jilin Province received the equivalent of US $7.6 billion, which is a 10 percent increase over that of last year, according to the provincial trade and economic cooperation bureau’s economic report, which was published recently.
The direct foreign investment, from Hongkong, Germany, South Korea, and Taiwan, accounts for two thirds of the whole amount in the areas of manufacturing, chemicals, food processing, textiles, the pharmaceutical industry, and so on.
The provincial office also said that Jilin City, Changchun, and Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture ranked in the top three places for receiving foreign investments.
