NE China auto expo finishes with record business volume

When the Jilin auto expo closed on July 19, in the city of Changchun, it had done almost $1 billion worth of business, according to the local Jilin Daily, on Jul 19.
The 10-day expo covered a 200,000-square-meter area and attracted 137 companies with 1,226 autos on display, as well as 672,000 visitors and 28,627 autos sold.
Under the?theme of "Linking autos to lead the future", the expo this year was to explore new auto technology and promote auto culture.
Changchun is expected to open the autumn auto expo on Oct 15.
