Lujiazui launched a green finance commission this March at the 2017 Lujiazui Green Finance Forum. Its members are drawn from a wide range of fields including banking, security and insurance, emerging financial institutions, government departments, academic research institutes, and industry associations.

It was launched to attract green finance resources to Lujiazui, promote innovation and development of relevant products, and increase Lujiazui's influence in the sector.

Also, it looks to enhance international cooperation and exchanges in green finance. Lujiazui will strengthen its cooperation with the City of London and British enterprises, as the UK is considered a global green finance center.
