Sun Hongbin is the founder and chairman of Sunac China Holdings, one of China's largest real estate developers.
Sun was born in Linyi County, Shanxi province. He graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree in 1985 and has completed an advanced management program at Harvard Business School.
He founded Sunac China in 2003. The company was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2010.
