During the first half of this year, Taiyuan in Shanxi province attracted 93 investment projects, bringing in total investment of 190.3 trillion yuan ($28.35 trillion) –– 89.8 percent of the full-year target.
The province has been working hard to persuade businesspeople from the area to return to their hometowns and invest and innovate to grow the local economy.
Investment projects in the province are increasingly high-quality undertakings, with capital invested from cities all over China.
