Datong county shows its investment potential
Yanggao county of Datong, Shanxi province now ranks among "China's Top 100 small-to-mid- cities for investment potential", according to the China Social Science Academy's recently published 2013 Green Book for Small-to-mid-sized Cities, marking the fifth time for it to join the list.
Yanggao county has been undergoing an industrial transformation in recent years to improve itself with leapfrog development for the entire county. And, it has been trying to attract more investment using its Longquan Industrial Park, which covers a 26-square-kilometer area, as an investment site that has produced some good results -- more than 300 million yuan in investment has come in for a group of major projects.
Shanxi had four counties in all joining the ranked.
