The Chengdu Tourism Association has released the recommended list of tourist sites chosen by netizens from Sichuan province.

The Happy Valley amusement park in Sichuan's provincial capital Chengdu; the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project and the Qingcheng Mountains in the city of Dujiangyan; Guangming Cherry Hills in Pujiang county; Huanglongxi Ancient Town in Dayi county; and Emei Mountains in Emeishan city top the rankings in their respective categories.

The list is the result of a month-long online poll that registered about 100,000 valid votes.

The event was co-sponsored by Chengdu Daily.
