Godiva will close all its North American stores by March

The luxury chocolatier Godiva will close or sell all of its 128 North American shops by the end of March, the company said Sunday. The company said that in-person shopping at its brick-and-mortar stores has waned because of the pandemic and changes in consumers’ shopping behavior. Customers still can get the chocolates online as well as at grocery stores. Godiva is keeping its stores open in China, Europe and the Middle East.
