Singapore firmly abides by one-China principle: PM

LIMA -- Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said on Friday that his country firmly abides by the one-China principle.
Wong made the remarks in his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the 31st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting.
He said Singapore fully understands the Chinese government's position on the Taiwan question, and opposes any form of "Taiwan independence."
