Racing into Culture: International students paddle for victory in Wuhan

On May 29, over 120 international students from Huazhong University of Science and Technology took part in a dragon boat friendship race on Wuhan's Yujia Lake as part of the "Journey to the East" cultural event.
Six teams, named after local icons like Mulan and Yellow Crane, competed in the spirited race. After a close contest, the Yellow Crane Team crossed the finish line first.
Now in its fifth year, the event blends sport and tradition, giving students from around the world a hands-on way to experience Chinese culture and the spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival.
